Tae Kwon Do

Tae Kwon Do is a Korean Martial Art that focuses primarily on kicks and traditional strikes.  It utilizes kicks and kicking combinations in quick succession to overcome and attacker or opponent.

Full contact sparring is utilized extensively in training to develop speed, footwork, agility, and strategy.  Tae Kwon Do is the most widely practiced martial art in the world and is an official olympic sport.

Self defense is a huge benefit to training in Tae Kwon Do but others include:

  • stress relief
  • weight loss
  • muscle toning
  • anti-bullying
  • competition
  • and it’s A LOT of fun!
